The Allstar gateway on the Paddington repeater can access the following networks Allstar, Echolink and DMR via the VKMultiNET, using a standard FM transceiver that can generate DTMF Tones.
The repeater is located in Paddington an inner city suburb of Sydney and has good coverage around City, Inner west and Eastern Suburbs.
You can listen to the repeater from your PC via Broadcastify on a web browser which can be found here.

First Configure your transceiver for receive on 438.575 Mhz and to Transmit on 433.575 with a CTCSS tone of 91.5hz.

DTMF You will need to trigger the repeater with DTMF tones. If you can your transceiver should be configured to use a tone length of 200ms.

Etiquette Before activating a link check if repeater is in use and announce your call before sending DTMF tones.

Cleanup When signing off always send a DTMF *73 which closes all open links on the repeater.
Connecting the repeater to a remote network is done by issuing DTMF commands. The repeaters controller supports a number of commands they all start with a DMTF *

*1 Use *1 followed by the node number to disconnect a remote node.

*2 Use *2 followed by the node number to monitor (listen only) to a remote node.

*3 Use *3 followed by the node number to connect to a remote node in transceive mode.

*73 Use *73 to disconnect all connected nodes.
There are also some DTMF commands that report back information from the repeater controller.

*80 Say current node connected to.

*81 Say current time.

*82 Send station ID.

*A1 Say node IP Address.

*A2 Say node status.
The VK2ROT repeater can connect to nodes on the Echolink, Allstar and VKMultiNET Networks using node numbers. Node numbers need to be in a specific format to allow connection. Node numbers are used as follows.
- Echolink node numbers begin with number 3 followed by the 6 digit echolink ID padded with leading zeros. For example to connect to ANZEL echolink conference node 69556 use DTMF *3 3 069556
- Allstar node numbers can simply be entered without a heading digit so to use ANZEL as an example again via Allstar use *3 49903
- VKMultiNET can be connected by using *3 1999 Once connected you will be able to hear DMR 505 from both VKDMR and Brandmeister as well as being able to talk back on talk group 777
